ChainOfAsker is a new style daily job management web application  (Screen Shot or Demo Video) which has distributed or decentralized work planning capability based on chained asking mechanism. 

Chained Asking Mechanism
When we try to do something which we can not handle alone, we divide the job into the portion of which we handle by our self and the portion to ask someone. This means that we are doing one step of work breakdown when we try to ask something. And the same things will happen in the person who accept some part of the job. So asking will create a chain of asking and reproduction of asking will continue until the entire job is broken down into small tasks and accepted by final task executor.  ChainOfAsker use this chained asking mechanism to develop entire work plan and schedule. By implementing this mechanism, ChainOfAsker can start job planning simply asking what you want by delegating one step detail planning to request receiver. I think this is beneficial for both request sender side and request receiver side because request sender can simply reduce planning workload and for request receiver side, he/she can reflect their specialized knowledge for the requested field to develop effective working plan.

ChainOfAsker is free Silverlight web application. So If you are interested in this approach please install Silverlight and try it by clicking the next link.

Open ChainOfAsker (<= ChainOfAsker program will start by new browser window)

  • ChainOfAsker run on the Microsoft Silverlight3(or Higher) run-time environment. So If your are not installing Silverlight, please install Silverlight before open ChainOfAsker.
    • Both Windows and Mac can install Silverlight, for detail you can confirm OS and Browser requirement at the Silverlight installation site.
    • If you do not know whether your pc has Silverlight or not, please jump to the Silverlight installation site.  Then you will get "You are ready to use Microsoft Silverlight" message If your pc already have Silverlight.
    • If you do not install Silverlight run-time, ChainOfAsker can't run.
  • When you open ChainOfAsker, It starts up by "Tutorial Mode". Tutorial Mode is a special operation mode for learning. Here you can play(or act) different user role to learn how to develop project plan by chained asking manner.
    • You can watch how to use ChainOfAsker by demo video and you can get step by step operation learning course by this user's manual.
    • "Tutorial Mode" does not require user identification. So You can open and operate it without Google Log in.
    • You can not post real request to your member at  "Tutorial Mode". To do this, please change mode to "Web Mode".
  • You can change from "Tutorial Mode" to "Web Mode" which you can post real request to your member.　ChainOfAsker use Google Account for user identification at "Web mode". To change Web-Mode please do either one of following operations.

    • Click "ChainOfAsker data server Log in" link on the About Tab of ChainOfAsker.
    • Open operation panel at "About Tab" and select "Web-Mode" and click "Restart by Designated Mode" button.
Once you have change to "Web-Mode", Selected mode become a default mode when you open ChainOfAsker. If you want to go back to Tutorial-Mode, please open operation panel and select " Tutorial-Mode " and click "Restart by Designated Mode" button.
  • ChainOfAsker create new window to show various confirmation message by pop up window. So please allow new window pop up for this application site.
  • Project data upload and download is protected by https security communication protocol.
  • Project which is not updated for 30 days will be erased from server automatically.
  • To cover server data processing fee, Google Ad is displayed on ChainOfAsker
